Sandoval Makes a Straight

A small pile of chips was in the middle from preflop action and three players went to a flop of 
. The small blind led out for 1,000 and received a call from Daniel Sandoval in early position. Josh Saltz then folded on the button.
Action went heads up to the turn, where the small blind bet another 1,100 and Sandoval called again. The river fell 
and both players checked to take the hand to showdown.
Sandoval turned over 
after checking back, showing a straight that could not be bested despite three spades being on board and he took down the pot as a result.
