It's time for Day 1c of the Bally's Black Hawk 2021 Colorado Poker Championship (CPC) $1,450 Main Event.

The third and final starting flight of the CPC Main Event begins at noon with 191 entries already recorded through the first two days of play. A strong showing is expected to turn up for what will be the largest flight of the event, one that will look to surpass the 330 entries generated during the most recent 2019 version despite a 30% increase in this year's buy-in.

Players start with 30,000 in chips and blinds of 100/100/100. All levels on Day 1 will last 40 minutes with 10-minute breaks occurring after every three levels, or two hours of play, and a 40-minute dinner break at the completion of Level 9 (approximately 6:20 p.m. local time). Late registration with unlimited re-entries will remain open through the dinner break, closing at the start of Level 10 at approximately 7 p.m. local time.

Nearly 14 full levels will be played to their completion, with an official hard-stop time of 7:35 remaining in the final level of the night due to Day 1a reaching 12% of the field at that point. Eight players advanced to Sunday's Day 2 from that flight and another 18 added joined the party from Friday's Day 1b, with a trio of Rocco Palumbo (554,500), Mike Kenny (546,000), and Steve Wilkie (506,000) currently atop the overall counts as the only players above 500,000.

Who else will take advantage of their final opportunities to make the Day 2 roster? Keep it here at PokerNews throughout the day and find out.
