Wilkie Makes the Nuts and Cracks Keeline's Aces; Hand-for-Hand Play Begins

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Ben Keeline
Ben Keeline

Steve Wilkie opened to 17,000 in the hijack and Ben Keeline three-bet to 47,000 in the big blind. Wilkie called and the flop came {6-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{7-Spades}. Keeline continuation-bet 30,000 and Wilkie called. Keeline then shoved for around a pot-sized bet on the turn {5-Hearts} and Wilkie called.

Ben Keeline: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}
Steve Wilkie: {9-Hearts}{8-Clubs}

Keeline's aces were drawing dead as Wilkie had turned the nuts. The river came {5-Clubs} and the pot was shipped Wilkie's way.

"I was open-ended on the flop," said Wilkie as Keeline made his way from the room. Keeline's elimination came in 33rd place, and hand-for-hand play is now in effect with 32 left and the tournament reaching the bubble.
