Tournament Director Teresa Nousiainen made some announcements including that there will be a break after the first blind level when late-registration closed. There have already been a number of late entries and reentries so the total count of players will continue to grow.
After the announcements, Day 2 kicked off with blinds at 500/1,000 and a big blind of 1,000.
Siim Suviste got his 14 big blind stack in the middle with and was called by Olof Joakim Jonsson with .
Despite it looking bad for Suviste holding the second best preflop hand, things began to look up for him after he nailed a set on the flop.
Jonsson still had many outs to take out his opponent with both a flush draw and a higher set draw.
Suviste's chances for surviving and doubling up improved after a harmless appeared on the turn.
However, a came on the river to complete a flush for Jonsson and Suviste's Day 2 was over early unless he decides to reenter the event.
