Action Slowed

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

The action has slowed as one would expect with the bubble approaching. There are still 83 players remaining.

Three Players Eliminated, Everyone in the Money

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Even Evensen
Even Evensen

Even Evensen jammed from under the gun for about four big blinds and was called by two players including Ranno Sootla in the big blind.

Both players checked the {2-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{7-Clubs} flop and the {k-Clubs} on the turn. Sootla then bet 24,000 after the {5-Clubs} completed the board on the river and his opponent folded.

Sootla turned over {k-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} and it was good enough to take out Evensen after he turned over {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}. Evensen doesn't go home empty-handed despite the bubble.

Jaanus Veste was eliminated around the same time right before when hand for hand play would have began with 82 players remaining and although Evensen officially took 81st place he will get a share of the 80th place prize of €1,085.

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Roope Tarmi opened to 17,000 from under the gun and the player next to help called. Peeter [Removed:314] jammed from the button for 93,000. Tarmi called and the other player folded.

Peeter [Removed:314]: {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}
Roope Tarmi: {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

Tarmi's hand held strong the entire way with the {9-Spades}{5-Hearts}{j-Spades}{8-Hearts}{7-Spades} running out on the board and [Removed:314] headed to the cashier.

Fishhooks for Ojasoo

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

A player opened the button for 20,000 before Nils Harstad jammed for 104,000 from the small blind. Toivo Ojasoo called for about 15,000 less from the big blind and was well ahead after turning over {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} to his opponent's {j-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}.

The {9-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} board never had Harstad in the hand and he was left with crumbs after doubling his opponent.

Bjorn Fisue open-jammed for 20 big blinds from middle position before Marcen Jawoski rejammed for about 35 big blinds from the hijack.

The rest of the table folded and the players flipped over their cards.

Bjorn Fisue: {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}
Marcen Jawoski: {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

Fisue was in jeopardy of busting but instead he doubled up after pairing up on the {6-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{8-Hearts} flop and Jawoski unable to retake advantage of the hand.
