Coolbet Founder Jan Svendsen was the first player eliminated from the action after just recently joining the action. We likely haven't seen the last of Svendsen with late registration open all day today, during tomorrow's Day 1b, and up until the conclusion of the first blind level of Friday's Day 2.

Keimo Suominen checked the board with about 5,000 in the pot before Stefan Svadang bet 3,500.
Suominen paused for more than a minute before he made the call. Svadang turned over for two pair.
Suominen knocked the table lightly to tell his opponent nice hand before he turned over and leaving the other card face down to show he also had a good hand with at least top pair.

In about 25 minutes, players will be on their first break of the day. PokerNews will interview live on Facebook last Coolbet Open Main Event third-place finisher Finland's Mathias Siljander.
France's Matthieu Lamagnere is one of the most successful poker players joining the early action of the Coolbet Open Main Event with nearly $500,000 in live tournament cashes.
Villem-Henrik Koitmaa limped and two others limped behind before Lamagnere jammed for what seemed to be more than 4,000. Koitmaa didn't realize his opponent was all in and put 50 chips into the pot after seeing some of the others call for two black 100 chips.
The dealer wasn't sure whether Koitmaa said "call" or not before he put in his bet. The entire table confirmed this was not the case and the floor was called. The floor ruled that Koitmaa either had to leave the 50 extra chips in the pot or call.
Koitmaa sighed with relief before he said with a smile that he would fold. The other two players folded behind and Lamagnere scooped a small pot.

"I want to give you some of your chips back," said Komissarov before he made the call.
