Arutjunov's Day is Over

Level 13 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante

Aleksandr Arutjunov open jammed from the cutoff for 9,000 and got calls from Touko Berndtson and Taago Tamm.

Both Berndtson and Tamm checked the {2-Clubs}{8-Spades}{10-Clubs} flop. Berndtson then bet 7,000 after the {k-Diamonds} came on the turn and Tamm snap-folded.

Arutjunov got out of his seat when he found out the bad news that he was drawing dead with {a-Spades}{5-Clubs} to his opponent's {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}. The {3-Hearts} on the river made the hand official and Arutjunov's day was over.

Albertsen Deliver a Dirty Beat to Lindqvist

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

A player opened to 7,500 from early position before Kjell Lindqvist jammed for 65,300 from late position. Former Coolbet Open champion Mats Albertsen asked how much before he called from the big blind.

The original opener folded and Lindqvist was in excellent shape to double with {q-Hearts}{q-Spades} against his Albertsen's {5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}.

It wasn't meant to be for Lindqvist as Albertsen spiked a set on the {5-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} flop followed by the {j-Hearts} on the turn. The dagger came down on Lindqvist as the {5-Spades} came on the river to give his opponent quads.

Lindqvist was in good spirits after the hand pointing to his Vimenn patch and said he will take a short break before he enters the two-day €330 Vimenn Open that just began.
