Anders Bjorkheim limped the small blind with the 9♥9♣ and Keimo Suominen checked the 4♦3♣ to the 10♠4♥3♠ flop. Bjorkheim checked behind to the Q♠ turn on which Suominen led for 275,000 and Bjorkheim check-called.
The river brought the K♣ and Bjorkheim checked, Suominen bet 525,000 to send his opponent deep into the muck. Bjorkheim mulled it over for a long time and ended up folding.
Anders Bjorkheim didn't jam the next button and raised to 250,000 next with the A♥2♠, Seyed Tabaei defended the K♦10♣. On the K♠Q♠Q♥ flop, Tabaei check-called for 150,000 and they checked the 6♦ turn. The river was the 10♦ and Tabaei bet 200,000 and Bjorkheim folded.
Keimo Suominen raised to 250,000 with the A♠4♣ and Anders Bjorkheim three-bet to 725,000 with the 7♥7♣, which forced out the Finn. Bjorkheim won the next pot and then open-jammed the next button with the 5♠5♣.
Seyed Tabaei in the big blind smirked and folded the 3♥3♣ eventually.
Keimo Suominen raised to 250,000 on the button with the A♦7♥ and was called by the chip leader Anders Bjorkheim in the big blind, who had the Q♣J♣. The K♥5♠3♠ flop was checked by the Norwegian and he then folded to a bet. Prior to that, Bjorkheim had folded to a shove by Suominen when laying down a weak ace.
Bjorkheim then raised to 300,000 out of the small blind with A♥K♦ and Suominen folded a jack.
Following a raise to 250,000 on the button by Anders Bjorkheim with the K♥9♥, Seyed Tabaei called in the big blind with 3♠3♦. The flop fell Q♥J♦2♠ and Tabaei check-called for 175,000 for the A♥ to appear on the turn. Tabaei checked again and Bjorkheim bet 475,000 to force a snap-fold.
Anders Bjorkheim raised the button to 250,000 with K♣10♦ and Seyed Tabaei just called in the big blind with A♣8♠. The Q♦8♣4♣ flop sae Tabaei lead for 400,000 and Bjorkheim folded after brief consideration.
Keimo Suominen raised it up to 250,000 next with the J♥9♥ and Bjorkheim called with the A♦2♣ in the big blind. The A♥K♥10♣ flop gave Bjorkheim the top pair and he checked, Suominen bet his gutshot and flush draw for 125,000 and Bjorkheim called.
Both checked the K♠ turn and the 3♦ followed on the river. Bjorkheim checked again and Suominen checked behind to give up the pot.
Seyed Tabaei raised out of the small blind to 250,000 with the 8♦7♦ and Anders Bjorkheim three-bet to 600,000 in the big blind with the A♥3♣, which Tabaei called. On the 4♥2♥2♠ flop, Tabaei check-folded to a continuation bet by Bjorkheim.
Bjorkheim then raised the next button to 250,000 with the 7♥6♠ and Tabaei defended the 8♥6♦ in the big blind. Both had a piece of the Q♦8♣7♠ flop but checked. Tabaei bet the 7♣ turn for 400,000 and Bjorkheim called.
On the Q♠ river, Tabaei checked and Bjorkheim bet 375,000 to get paid off by Tabaei, regaining a solid lead.
