Ingvill Nilsen bet the A♠Q♥6♠ flop for 17,000 out of the big blind and Daniel Axelsson raised to 42,000. Nilsen folded and said "I had the ace but no spades." Axelsson replied "I had to raise, I had a strong ace," while collecting the pot.
At the same time, Keimo Suominen bet the J♦7♥3♠Q♠8♥ river for 65,000. Monica Klingenberg folded and Suominen declared "I had something" then showed the Q♥Q♣. Just the hand prior, Suominen had shown a five-high bluff.
There was also one all-in and call as Antti Takala three-bet jammed his last 28,000 out of the big blind and Taavi Pusa called.
Antti Takala: 5♥5♠
Taavi Pusa: A♥8♠
The ace came on the A♠10♦7♦9♠7♠ board to reduce the field to the last 63 players.
Mateusz Jablonski jammed for 68,000 in the cutoff and was not happy to be called by Ludvik Gudmundsson in the big blind despite being ahead in the showdown.
Mateusz Jablonski: A♣Q♥
Ludvik Gudmundsson: K♥J♠
The board ran out A♦K♦8♦10♥5♣ and Jablonski doubled.
Shortly after, Johan Mattsson was eliminated on a nearby table to reduce the field to the last 64 players.
Aleksei Gontšar has taken over the lead over on table 12 while Kasper Wurtz vanished. One short stack can be found there in Tapio Aaltonen while three severe short stacks are on table eight.
Teemu Leppälahti pushed all-in for 37,000 and Antti Takala folded in the small blind. Mindaugas Ezerskis in the big blind asked for a count and folded, too.
Upon completion of level 14, the field has been reduced to the last 66 hopefuls and they have been sent on a scheduled 15-minute break. During that time, the T-500 chips will be raced off and the field is just three eliminations away from the money bubble.
No longer in contention are Rasmus Sihvonen, Ylva Thorsrud, Jari Hurri, as well as Meelis Ahman.
Vytautas Rubezius was all-in with ace-king versus ace-king and Arne Aarskog held the K♦ in his hand, which got there thanks to four diamonds to send the Lithuanian to the rail. Others to fall recently were Taago Tamm and Riku Määttä, and the final eight tables have already been reached.
In a duel of short stacks, Teemu Kaonpää and Mario Jürgens got their chips into the middle.
Teemu Kaonpää: K♠9♠
Mario Jürgens: A♣5♣
The ace-high remained ahead despite a sweat on the Q♣J♥7♥7♦3♠ board. Both stacks were counted and the 69,000 of Jürgens covered. Before their table broke, the Estonian then won another healthy pot to jump back into contention.
