Rasch Loses With Full House as Kaarval Keeps Building

Fredrik Kaarvall raised to 11,000 in early position. It folded to Martin Rasch in the big blind, who defended. Rasch check-called Kaarvall's bets of 13,000 on the 10♣9♣J♣ flop, and 28,000 on the 9♠ turn.

The 7♣ river was also checked by Rasch, seeing Kaarvall size down to 20,000. Rasch quickly grabbed calling chips and tossed them in the middle, quickly showing 10♥9♥ for nines full of tens.

Kaarvall had better with J♦9♦, however, and his nines full of jacks won him the pot while Rasch was complimented by the table for losing the absolute minimum.

Picking up the action on a J♥6♥Q♦10♦ turn, Knut Gronli bet 15,000 into a pot of 35,000 from the big blind. Torsti Kettula then raised to 45,000 in early position, which Gronli called after confirming the amount.

Edd-Christian Gerhardsen, who started the day atop the counts, had apparently slept in as he took his seat only after the last break, blinding down in the three previous levels.

In an effort to regain chips, he raised to 10,500 in middle position. Niklas Klein called in the next seat, while Olli Merenheimo did so on the button.

Gerhardsen checked the 7♠7♦K♠ flop over to Klein, who bet 15,500. Merenheimo quickly got out of the way before Gerhardsen tossed in a call.

The 3♠ turn and 3♥ river then checked to showdown, where Gherhardsen's 8♦8♣ was awarded the pot.
