Derwiche Sits Down, Wins With Ladies
Level 1
: Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Imad Derwiche had just sat down when he limped in from under the gun. Lautaro Guerra raised to 4,500 in the cutoff, being called by Ka Kwan Lau on the button and Derwiche.
The 10♥5♣2♣ flop checked through to the 9♠ turn. Derwiche made a bet of 5,000 and was called by Guerra. Lau quickly mucked before Derwiche tossed in 11,000 on the 3♣ river.
Guerra paid after some thought, tabling Q♦Q♣10♠4♦ for a pair of queens. They won him the pot as Guerra nodded his head and added his cards to the muck.
