Alioto Foregoes Bluff
Level 5
: Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
In a pot of 90,000, Dario Alioto bet 50,000 on the 7♠9♦J♣6♣ turn from the hijack. Sascha Wilhelm called in the cutoff for the K♦ river to complete the board.
Alioto went deep into the tank, relinquishing two time banks for checking. Wilhelm quickly checked back, with his K♠Q♠J♦9♥ winning the pot against the 10♥10♣3♣2♥ of Alioto.
