Amot Starts Hot
Level 1
: Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Mads Amot raised to 3,500 under the gun. Martin Nielsen defended his big blind and checked to Amot on the 2♦A♥7♥ flop. Amot continued for 5,000, seeing Nielsen raise to 15,000.
Amot called to the 4♠ turn, where Nielsen sized up to 35,000. Again, Amot called. On the 2♠ river, Nielsen nearly reached the end of his shot clock before he checked. Amot quickly checked behind.
Nielsen showed 9♥8♥6♣5♣ for some bricked draws, meaning Amot's A♠K♦7♠5♦ was enough to win the pot.
