Goldenberg Fires Three Barrels

Shmuel Goldenberg opened to 4,500 from the hijack, and Rostyslav Sabishchenko in the cutoff was the only one to call.

After the dealer fanned a flop of 9♦8♠4♥, Goldenberg bet 13,500 and was called. Then on the turn 2♠, he fired a second barrel of 25,500. Sabishchenko called once again.

The Q♦ came on the river, and Goldenberg moved all-in for approximately 50,000. Sabishchenko folded, saying that the river was "the worst card" for him.

The flop came 7♣K♦4♠, with Newey continuing for 3,500. Klaus check-called, then checked on the turn 2♥. Newey checked back, and there was no more action on the river 2♥, as both players checked again.

"Deuce" said Klause while revealing A♣2♣. Newey's cards went directly into the muck.

Heads-up on a flop of 6♥K♣A♠, Yisrael Sela continued for 3,000 after he opened preflop from the hijack. Michail Dalakis, who defended from the big blind, check-called, and check-called again when Sela bet 4,500 on the turn A♥.

The 7♠ came on the river, but both players checked. Sela was the first one to flip over his cards, revealing K♥J♦ for two pair. Dalakis had K♦3♠ for two pair as well, but his kicker was too low to win this pot.

Lankri continued for 5,000 on a flop of 5♦J♣8♠, and Freund check-called. He check-called again when Lankri fired a second barrel of 11,000 on the turn 3♥.

The 6♣ landed on the river, and Lankri bet 27,000. After a few seconds, Freund check-raised to 73,000. Lankri snap-called, but had to muck his cards when Freund flipped over 9♥7♦ for a straight.

"I had top two" said Lankri when Freund asked him what hand he had.
