A Small One for Molenaar

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

After Michel Molenaar opened to 1,200 from the hijack, Vitalii Shcherba on the button and both players in the blinds.

The dealer fanned a flop of 9K7, and the blinds folded to Molenaar, who decided to check. Shcherba checked too, and all four of them discovered the turn Q.

Once again, everybody checked. And even if there were four players still involved in the hand on the river 8, all of them checked once more.

Liviu Paval in the small blind then revealed 86 for a pair, but Molenaar had A8 for the same pair with a better kicker.

Lascsik With Kings

Imre Lascsik raised to 1,100 from the hijack, and faced Christian Steiner who defended from the big blind.

Lascsik continued for 1,500 on a flop of 6107, and Steiner quickly check-called.

Then on the turn 7, Steiner led out for 3,500. Lascsik called, and checked back on the river 5. He immediately flipped over KK and made Steiner muck his cards.

Yosef Bluffs Horvath

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

After Dominik Ostrowski opened to 1,000 from under the gun, Mody Rubinstein on the button and the blinds called.

On a flop of 645, Yehuda Yosef in the small blind led out for 1,600, and he was only called by Christian Horvath in the big blind.

Both of them checked on the turn 6, then Yosef bet 7,700 on the river 8.

Horvath went into the tank, but eventually folded, revealing the 7. Yosef quickly turned over 109 and scooped the pot.

Paval Hit Two Pair on the River

Matteo Spozio raised to 800 from middle position, then Vitalii Shcherba called from the button, as well as both players in the blinds.

The flop came K59, and Spozio continued for 1,200. He was called by Shcherba, and by Liviu Paval in the small blind.

On the turn 8, Paval and Spozio checked to Shcherba, who bet 3,700. Paval was the only one to call, and there was no more action on the river 7, as both players checked.

Paval quickly revealed 97 for two pair hit on the river and won against Shcherba's KxQx.

After Christian Steiner limped from early position, Elad Ratzam in the hijack raised to 900, and was called by Adrian Filip in the small blind, Igor Panak in the big blind and by Steiner.

Ratzam continued for 1,500 on a flop of 47Q. Filip folded, but Panak raised to 4,000. Steiner folded, and Ratzam made the call.

On the turn 3, Panak fired a second barrel of 4,500, but checked the river A. Ratzam, who called the turn, decided to bet 5,500 on the river.

Panak went into the tank, and eventually called with KQ. It was the winning hand, as Ratzam had Q2.

Four-way on a flop of 32J, Konstantinos Giannoutas in the big blind, Benjamin Lakatos in the hijack and Attila Meszaros in the cutoff folded to Antal Mezei on the button, who bet 1,100. Giannoutas was the only one to call.

On the turn 10, Giannoutas checked and Mezei checked back. There was no more action on the river J, as both players checked again.

Giannoutas then revealed K2 for a two pair, but Mezei with K3 had a better hand and scooped the pot.
