Romero Doubles in the Blinds
Level 24
: Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Javier Romero moved all in for 135,000 from the small blind and was called by Antonio Puntas in the big blind.
Javier Romero: A♦7♠
Antonio Puntas: Q♥7♥
Romero was in a great spot to double up with a bigger seven but his hopes were briefly dashed when Puntas hit top pair on the Q♦J♠2♣ flop. Romero reclaimed the lead on the A♥ turn and held on the K♥ river to score a full double up.
