In a preflop confrontation a player in the small blind was all in for 23,200 and up against Pablo Campos in middle position who held a covering stack.
Small Blind: A♠K♣
Pablo Campos: A♦Q♥
Campos was in rough shape with a dominated ace and found no help on the 3♣3♥5♣ flop. The 8♣ turn was also a brick but the Q♦ river gave Campos exactly what he needed to score the knockout and take down a nice pot.
A player from under the gun opened to 1,300 and Fabio Cardoso defended from the big blind.
The flop came K♥10♣8♥. Cardoso checked and his opponent fired a 1,000 continuation bet. Cardoso clicked it back to 2,000 and was called.
On the 3♠ turn Cardoso bet 5,000 and this time his opponent put in a min-raise to 10,000. Cardoso moved all in for approximately 40,000 which was enough to force a fold from his opponent.
A player in the small blind limped in and Oscar Rodriguez checked his option in the big blind.
The flop came Q♥5♣2♣. The small blind bet 700 and Rodriguez called.
The small blind fired a second barrel on the A♦ turn for 1,400 and was once again called by Rodriguez.
Both players checked the A♠ river. The small blind showed down K♠4♠ for king-high and a missed straight draw while Rodriguez turned over J♦2♦ for aces and twos to take the pot.
