All three of them checked all the way through a board of 4♦8♠5♦3♥. But on the 9♥ river, Meeuwisse led out for 40,000. Gkatzas folded, but Luksa threw a chip to call.

At the beginning of the final day, the tournament directors revealed the payouts of the €560 EAPT Malta Main Event. The 660 entrants generated a total prize pool of €313,500. The 99 players qualified for Day 2 are in the money and secured a minimum cash-prize of €850.
The winner of the tournament will go back home with €50,225 and a €5,000 package to Cyprus for the Mediterranean Poker Party in May. The Top 5 will also win the package.
