After an open to 1,000 by a player in middle position, the hijack and the cutoff called. However, Panteleimon Michalakellis in the small blind decided to raise to 2,700. The big blind called, as well as the hijack and the cutoff.

On a flop of 5♦7♦2♣, Michalakellis continued for 3,300. Everybody folded to Giovanni Impollonia in the hijack, who raised all-in for 31,000 chips. Michalakellis called with his last 14,000 chips.
