Get Ready for the British Debut of the EAPT!
Welcome to live coverage of Day 1a and Day 1b of the £560 Eurasian Poker Tour UK Main Event, held at the legendary Dusk Till Dawn Poker Club in Nottingham, England.
The EAPT has been growing strong for the past 11 years and for the first time in its history, it is visiting British soil with a massive guarantee of £500,000.
Past notable champions of this prestigious brand include Boris Kolev, Artur Martirosian, and the first-ever EAPT champion Marvin Rettenmaier.
Cards will be in the air at midday local time for Day 1a and a 5 p.m. start for Day 1b. Each player will start with 200,000 chips, with blinds beginning with 1,000 small blind, 1,000 big blind, and 1,000 big blind ante. Day 1a’s blinds will increase every 40 minutes, while Day 1b’s blinds will increase every 30 minutes.
Players may re-enter once on both flights until the start of level seven. The play will continue until 20 percent of the field remains who will bag up and return for Day 2 on May 26 at 3 p.m. local time.
If players don’t advance today, there is still ample opportunity to qualify for Day 2. On May 25 there will be a further two flights with Day 1c and Day 1d, while on May 26 there is a turbo option of Day 1e which starts at 10 a.m. local time with 15-minute levels.
