Dorfman Pushes Out Rheem

After Randy Dorfman raised to 1,900 from the cutoff seat, Chino Rheem reraised from the button to 5,000. Action folded back to Dorfman and he made the call. After three-betting, Rheem only had 18,000 behind.

The flop came down {A-Spades}{K-Spades}{3-Diamonds} and Dorfman fired 20,000 to put Rheem all in. Rheem didn't look like he wanted to fold, but tossed his hand in anyway and Dorfman won the pot.

Gavin Griffin
Gavin Griffin

Gavin Griffin raised to 2,000 and late-registrant Vivek Rajkumar called from the button. Noah Schwartz also called, coming in from the big blind.

Trickett Bests Pilgrim

Action folded to Sam Trickett on the button and he put in an opening raise to 2,000. Dwyte Pilgrim three-bet from the small blind to 5,500. Trickett made the call and the flop came down {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}. Both players checked and the turn brought the {7-Spades}. Pilgrim checked and Trickett tossed in a bet of 4,000. Pilgrim check-raised to 15,000 and Trickett called. The river was the {6-Spades} and Pilgrim checked. Trickett also checked.

Pilgrim showed the {A-Hearts}{2-Spades} for queens and deuces. Trickett tabled a better {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for queens and sevens to win the pot.

Levy Gets Value from Diamonds

Vanessa Selbst and Adam Levy were in action on the paired flop of {J-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}. Selbst was first and checked. Levy then checked behind.

The turn was the {8-Diamonds} and both players checked again to see the {4-Diamonds} land on the river. Selbst checked and Levy fired 3,400. Selbst gave it some nice, hard thought and then made the call. Levy turned over the {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts} for a diamond flush and Selbst mucked her hand.

Even though she lost this hand, Selbst still has over three times the starting stack while Levy floats just above it.

Levi Busted

Level 5 : 400/800, 100 ante

Nicholas Levi was all in again with a small pocket pair for his final 33,000. He held {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} and had to hold on against the {a-Spades}{k-Spades} of Victor Ramdin. He managed to do it for the first four cards when it came down {4-Spades}{4-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} but the {k-Hearts} river did him in.

Ramdin now has 110,000.
