Scotty Nguyen (who was spotted drinking water of all things today) has hit the rail. With the board reading J-J-T-K, Nguyen's chips went into the middle, his A-Q having turned a straight, but he ran into the pocket tens of his opponent, who had flopped a full house.

For Stephen Chidwick, One Seat is Never Enough

Stephen Chidwick, perhaps best known as "stevie444," the 19-year old online sensation who, as the legend goes, won over 100 WSOP Main Event packages this year (but couldn't use a single one due to his age) is in the field today and chipping up quite nicely.

Chidwick opened from UTG for 550 and the big blind called. The flop was {Q-Hearts}

and the big blind check-called Chidwick's 800 chip bet. The turn was the {8-Hearts}

and both players checked. The river was the {6-Spades}

. The big blind led out for 1,625 and Chidwick took his time before making the call. The big blind sheepishly showed {A-Diamonds}

and Chidwick's turned set with {8-Spades}

was good to take down the pot.

Chidwick is now up to 18,000.

Top Pair Enough For Mizzi

Sorel Mizzi bet the flop, checked the turn, and led out for 4,450 on the river of a {J-Diamonds}

board before being called down by his mustached opponent. Mizzi showed {K-Spades}

to take the pot and is now on around 20,000.

Three-and-a-half hours into the tournament, Joe Cassidy finally arrived in Hellmuth-esque fashion and took his seat. He needn't have got comfy though, as his €8,000 was to stretch to just one hand. A-K suited versus pocket aces, all in by the river, and that was that. Oh well, at least the weather's nice.

Freddy Deeb, who has been on a short stack all day, has managed to coast into the first of two staggered dinner breaks with his chip stack still intact. Down to just under 1,500 chips, Deeb said "well...I'm still here," when asked how he was doing going into the 60-minute hiatus.
