Despite being a tour spanning a continent not known primarily for it's English speaking, the EPT does adhere to the "English only" rule. Today's field consists of players from 24 different nationalities and while it goes without saying, over a dozen different languages are represented. Conversational chit-chat in a foreign tongue is permitted, but during a hand the rule is "English Only At the Table."
