San Remo
Nine of hours of poker and we have lost over a third of the starting 337 players; only 95 remain. As with most of these events it is hard to put an exact handle on who the chip leader is, as something always happens when we turn our backs for a moment. It looks like it is a straight fight between Hakan Sahl and Ville Nyman but there are any number of players who are just one double-up from the lead. We will post the actual chip counts before tomorrow's play starts.
Some notable former EPT winners still in the running inlcude Brandon Schaefer, Pascal Perrault, and Mark Teltscher. Interestingly, both Brandon and Mark have also had a second place.
