Sebastian Ruthenberg has had a pretty good 12 months, and a bunch of EPT cashes including a win at EPT Barcelona in '08. He also has a bracelet. What he doesn't have today is overpair holding power:

Sida Stack, Fear The Stack

Must be nice to have almost triple the stack of the next biggest stacked player on your table. Sida Yuen has a very respectable 152,300 (precisely, five mins ago - he was just in the process of neat-freaking his stack into excellent countable even piles). He's clearly enjoying playing as many pots as possible, and here's an example which just happened to occur while I was chip counting:

Under the gun limps, as does utg+1, Yuen limps, the cutoff limps, small blind Arnaud Mattern limps and the big blind checks.

Flop: {4-Hearts}

. Uninspiring? Hardly. Check to Yuen who bets immediately 3,200 and is rewarded with a domino-like sequence of folds. That was an extra 4k just drifting into his stack.

Fox Uproots Flowers

Randall Flowers has just been eliminated from the tournament after some sneaky Cowboys took his stack.

THere was a fourway flop: {3-Diamonds}

and Flowers in the small blind led out for 6,250 into the pot of around 10k. I am pretty sure the mid-position agressive big stack (the same who got the best of Fox in that earlier reported hand) had raised preflop and picked up a late position caller in Fox and two more out of position ones.

So anyway, on this bed of rags, Flowers leads out and the mid two pass, but Fox pushes forward his stack of high denomination chips, enough to set Flowers all in. He calls fairly quickly and flips {10-Hearts}

. Not happy to see Fox's {K-Spades}

, the turn and river bricked and he headed to the rail, bid farewell by tablemate Maridu.
