Since the action has just begun to slow a bit, we'll give you something to keep occupied with. French pro Anthony Roux took a few minutes to chat with Glo during an earlier break (she just wanted to show off her French). Have a listen to how his day is going so far and what he thinks about the French invasion here in Prague:
Don't forget you can check out all of Glo's videos from the PokerStars.com EPT Prague over on PokerNews TV.
Toby Lewis has taken a few small hits, the latest of which involved him betting in position on the turn of a board. Yann Brosolo made the call, and proceeded to bet out on the river. Lewis passed, and is on 230,000 after that.
Voitto Rintala came into the pot with a late-position raise, and Antony Lellouche made a three-bet from the big blind. Rintala immediately moved all in, and Lellouche called even quicker. The two were virtually even in chips with about 230,000 apiece, so nobody was sure who was at risk when the cards were tabled:
Rintala:
Lellouche:
Lellouche seemed awfully nervous about this situation, but his nerves would soon be calmed. The dealer ran out a very clean board of . The queens hold for the Frenchman, and he earns himself the pot. When the stacks were counted down, Rintala had his man covered by just about 20,000. He'll be left with just those red chips, while Lellouche vaults back up to about 475,000.
Gustav Ekerot opened to 26,000, and big stack Juha Lauttamus made the call to see a flop.
It came down . Ekerot continued out with a bet of 34,000, and Lauttamus didn't waste any time calling. When the hit the turn, the aggressor slowed down and tapped the table. Taking that as his cue, Lauttamus counted out a bet of 85,000 and slid it forward. After some sideways looks and frowns from Ekerot, he surrendered to the man with all the chips.
Voitto Rintala
One hand after being crippled by Antony Lellouche, Viotto Rintala moved his remaining 22,000 chips into the pot from middle position. Gustav Ekerot made a reraise in the blinds, and that was enough to get him heads up with a chance for the knockout.
Rintala tabled , and he was drawing live for a double up against Ekerot's . He wasn't drawing live for long, though, as a king came right on the flop. In the end, the board of is the last one Mr. Rintala will see today; he's been escorted to the payout desk.
Eyal Avitan raised from the cutoff; on the button, Pieter de Korver reraised. Avitan eyed him up, and then called.
Both players checked the flop, and Avitan bet out 103,000 on the turn. De Korver quickly called, and they saw a river. Avitan now bet 200,000 and de Korver confidently made the call, flipping for two pair. Avitan flipped for a rivered straight.
"No," said de Korver.
"Yes!" said Avitan.
"Oh f*** no," continued de Korver. "S**t s**t s**t s**t s**t."
De Korver is reduced to 240,000; Avitan meanwhile is up to well over a million in chips.
