With the flop reading , Jolmer Meelis bet 66,000, and then called a 90,000 raise from Eyal Avitan.
Meelis checked the turn and Avitan bet 206,000. Back to Meelis - who now announced all in for another 472,000. Avitan thought about it long and hard, before eventually folding. Meelis showed him for nothing more than a straight draw and is up to 1,291,000; Avitan is down to 1,350,000.
Bastian Trachte - 23rd Place
Sven Eichelbaum raised the button, and Bastian Trachte shipped his last 200,000 in from the small blind. Over to Jan Skampa in the big blind who woke up with pocket tens and re-shoved. Eichelbaum folded, and they went to showdown, Skampa's tens way ahead of Trachte's pocket threes.
A ten on the flop gave Skampa a set, and come the non-three turn Trachte was drawing dead. Down to 22.
Manuel Bevand - 22nd Place
We walked over to Table 3 just in time to hear, "All in and a call," over the speaker system. The board showed , and Manuel Bevand was all in with . Jan Skampa had looked him up with , in the lead and in position for the knockout.
The turn was a blank for the at-risk Frenchman, as was the on the river. Unable to fill in his straight draw, Manuel Bevand becomes our 22nd-place finisher.
Jerome Zerbib - 21st Place
Stefan Mattsson made an opening raise from middle position, and the short-stacked Jerome Zerbib moved all in for about 160,000 total. Mattsson made the call while Manuel Bevand's all in was taking place, so the two men had to wait a couple minutes before they would find out hte result of their clash.
The gaggle of media that had been encircling Table 3 quickly rushed over to Table 1 to see Mattsson table , looking to knock off the of the at-risk Zerbib.
The dealer ran out a board full of blanks: . That's no fun and no help for Zerbib, and he has been eliminated in 21st place on the final hand before the first break.
Antony Lellouche - 19th Place
Antony Lellouche attempted to raise under the gun, but got his levels and/or amounts confused and the 26,000 he put in the middle was deemed a call. Andre Paiva called as well in the cutoff, and big blind Eyal Avitan checked his big blind.
The flop came down and it checked around to Paiva, who bet. Avitan check-raised, Lellouche check-called the raise, and Paiva decided it wasn't worth it and folded. Interesting.
The turn came down the and Avitan now bet out 200,000. Lellouche announced all in for another 450,000 or so - and Avitan called.
Avitan: for trips
Lellouche: some rather unfortunate
