Alexander Klimashin open-shoved from middle position for slightly under 300,000 chips. Christophe Benzimra was the last obstacle Klimashin needed to pass as he sat in the big blind. Benzimra wasn't going to let Klimashin off the hook as easily as the others did and made the call.
Klimashin held against the of Benzimra and another flip would determine a tournament life.

The elimination of Alexander Klimashin in 7th place may have been all Luca Pagano needed to move into the number one slot on the all-time EPT Tournament Leader Board. It's not official though, but it was estimated that all Pagano needed was to finish 6th or better here in Warsaw. Barring an astonishing collapse, Pagano is likely to finish much higher than 6th and lock himself into the top spot for sure.
The last level was a short continuance from last night and there will be no break as the players play through to the end of Level 22 until receiving a 15-minute break.
