Davidi Kitai bet 1,150 after PokerStars qualifier Xavier Cena checked to him on a flop of {Q-Hearts} {8-Clubs} {5-Clubs}. Cena made the call.

The turn was the {10-Clubs} and Cena checked. Kitai checked right behind him.

After the {J-Spades} hit the felt on the river, Cena fired out 3,200. Kitai tanked for some time. He went back and forth between looking like he was going to call to looking like he was going to fold. In the end, Kitai made the call. Cena just shooked his head, quickly flashed his cards, and then flung them into the muck. Kitai then tabled {K-Spades} {2-Spades} for just king high and raked in the pot.

Kitai is sitting on 22,000 chips now.

On a flop of {A-Diamonds} {K-Hearts} {2-Diamonds}, Thor Hansen check-called a bet from fellow-TeamPokerStars Pro Dario Minieri. The turn came the {3-Clubs}, and after another check, Minieri fired 3,950 more chips at the pot. Hansen paused for a bit before flicking in the call.

The river was the {J-Diamonds}, and Hansen passed again. Minieri bet 6,450, but the dealer announced, "Six thousand nine hundred fifty." Shaun Deeb corrected him, but the dealer repeated the same wrong amount. Deeb repeated himself, and the dealer finally nodded in agreement that it was, in fact, 6,450. Hansen shook his head back and forth and eventually folded.

As Minieri pulled in the pot, he pleaded with the dealer, "Please try to pay a little more attention, okay? That's six times now..."

The dealer half-apologized, and Minieri added, "It's very important. If you have to announce the bet amount..." He was trailing off, but it appeared that the dealer understood. Minieri shouldn't have too much reason to complain; he's on about 54,000 after that pot.

Shaun Deeb had the last word. "Yeah, who's going to announce the bet amounts when I bust?"

Gus Hansen Rumor Dispelled

With rumors floating around for the past couple of days about Gus Hansen playing the event, we've come to find out that despite being present here in Warsaw, Poland, he's not actually here to play the event. Hansen is here with some friends doing some sight seeing, but it may not be the normal sight seeing you're used to though. Hansen's friends have an affinity for Polish women and have decided to take a little vacation to Warsaw. Hansen is tagging along and seems to be enjoying himself quite a lot.

Just before the break...

We walked up to the table to see more than 20,000 chips stacked in the middle and the board reading {9-Hearts} {2-Spades} {5-Diamonds} {A-Diamonds} {J-Clubs}. Antony Lellouche had checked, and after some debate, Jim Collopy had moved all in for 16,700.

Lellouche went into the tank for several minutes as Collopy sat like a statue. The call represented nearly half of Lellouche's stack, and he eventually plunked the chips into the pot.

Collopy sighed and flung his cards high into the air. The {6-Spades} {8-Spades} landed on the felt to reveal his bluff, and Collopy stood and prepared to exit. He just wanted to see the hand that beat him. Lellouche tabled {4-Spades} {4-Hearts} for the baby pair, and Collopy let out a loud, "What the f**k?!" He quickly ducked under the ropes and out of the room as Lellouche stacked that big pot.

The French pro is up around 75,000 after that monster call.

Xavier Cena raised to 1,000 and was called by Michael Seban out of the big blind. The flop came down {J-Spades} {9-Spades} {5-Diamonds} and Seban checked. Cena fired 1,300 and Seban made the call.

The turn was the {7-Hearts} and Seban passed to Cena. Cena fired 2,600 this time. Seban check-raised to 6,200. Cena called.

The river was the {2-Hearts} and Seban checked. Cena checked right behind and then mucked his hand after Seban tabled {J-Hearts} {J-Clubs} for a set of jacks.

Cena is down to 33,425 while Seban jumped to 45,000.

The 207 players who entered this iteration of the PokerStars.com EPT Warsaw have generated a total prize pool worth 4,770,500 Polish Zlotych. That's about €1,146,919 for those of you scoring at home in Europe, with one Euro being roughly equal to four Zlotych.

The tournament will pay out the final 24 places, with the bottom level being worth 28,620 Zlotych. Players who make the final eight-handed table will all be guaranteed at least 133,570, and the top three spots are all worth more than a half-million Zlotych.

The last man or woman left standing with every chip in play will earn 1,493,170 (€358,944), the etched glass EPT trophy, an entry into the Grand Final in Monte Carlo next spring, and the bragging rights that go along with being an EPT champion.
