Both men had just less than 50,000 in front of them, and Yaroshevskiy was making all signs that he wanted to bet. And it looked like he wanted to bet big as he shuffled about 30,000 worth of yellows. After several long minutes though, he tapped the felt with one of those formerly shuffled chips. Deeb took that as his cue to bet, and he carefully selected 8,750 of them to throw out into the middle in a confetti-colored pile. Yaroshevskiy barely paused for effect before sending his cards back to the dealer, and Deeb couldn't resist opening up his as he pulled in a nice pot.
The turn brought the . Both players checked. The river was the . Lunkin announced he was betting, and tossed out a single yellow chip for a bet of 5,000. His opponent thought a moment, then folded.
Lunkin still has a lot of work to do. He presently sits with 13,500 as we near the end of level 5.
