Taking It on the Tulchinskiy

Mikhail Tulchinskiy raised to 800 in early position and got two callers behind to see the {10-Hearts} {5-Hearts} {10-Spades} flop. Tulchinskiy bet out 1,600 and the first caller folded. The second caller, however, raised to 3,700. Tulchinskiy called, and they saw the next card.

The turn was the {3-Spades} and this time Tulchinskiy checked. His opponent bet 7,200, and after a moment Tulchinskiy called.

The river came down the {4-Clubs} and Tulchinskiy checked again. This time his opponent bet 10,800, leaving himself around 13,000 behind. Tulchinskiy gave it some serious thought and eventually called - but his opponent turned over {Q-Spades} {10-Clubs} for trips, and Tulchinskiy mucked his hand.

The two player's stacks had been just about even at the start of the hand. Tulchinskiy is now reduced to 13,000.
