Jake Cody raised to 145,000 just as the clock announced it was break time, but players were required to stay at the table for a minute or two, as Mike McDonald reraised to 405,000 out of the big blind. Cody looked very intense for a moment - but he folded.

Michael Fratty opened for 185,000, but Teodor Caraba reraised him to 600,000. Fratty dwelled while one railer shouted something encouraging in French, but Fratty laid it down and first post-break blood goes to Caraba.

Short Stacks Get Shorter

flop and Secara checked. Cody bet 195,000 - and Secara made a rather surprising fold. He's back under the 10-big-blind mark.

A roar erupted from the crowd, presumably for Albertini's top pair, but Bergeron had flopped the flush draw.

No further clubs were forthcoming and Albertini stayed in the game, doubling up to 1,275,000.

Action folded to Jake Cody in the small blind, and he raised to 175,000. Big blind Michael Fratty promptly moved all in for 1.3 million. Cody dutifully pretended to count his stack and think about the decision before mucking his cards. Fratty flashed an ace as he pulled in the pot.
