Romanello Ready For Action

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Roberto Romanello has got off to a good start by adding another 90,000 chips to his stack.

The Welshman raised from the cutoff to 33,000 and Roberto Nulli called on the button. When the blinds folded the dealer put out the {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} flop. Romanello then check-called a 42,000 bet from Nulli, then both players checked when the {9-Diamonds} showed up on the turn.

The action was the same when the {q-Clubs} peeled off on the river but Romanello scooped the pot as his {a-Spades}{4-Spades} had made trip aces, much better than the {6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} of his opponent.
