Josef Klings On To Another Pot

Josef Klinger limped preflop and saw a flop against the blinds Dominykas Karmazinas and Aleh Plauski.

The flop was {K-Spades} {7-Spades} {4-Spades} and it was checked to Klinger who bet 200,000. Plauski made the call and Karmazinas folded.

Both players checked the {4-Diamonds} turn, Plauski then checked the {6-Hearts} river and Klinger bet 400,000.

Plauski thought for a moment but then gave it up.

[Removed:146] Eliminated in 8th Place (€140,000)

[Removed:146] - 8th
[Removed:146] - 8th
[Removed:146] raised to 215,000 and Nicolas Chouity made the call.

The flop was {8-Clubs} {3-Spades} {4-Spades} and both players checked. The turn paired coming with the {4-Diamonds} and Guerfi bet 310,000 and Chouity made the call.

The river was the {K-Diamonds} and Guerfi thought for a while before betting 785,000. Chouity announced all-in and Guerfi called, having committed most of his stack.

Chouity flipped {8-Hearts} {8-Spades} for a full house and Guerfi could only show {A-Diamonds} {K-Hearts} for rivered top pair.

Chouity has almost 15 million chips of the 24 million in play. He is a monster.

Chen Tries it On, Chouity is Not Put Off

Nicolas Chouity raised from the button and Andrew Chen called in the small blind. Herve Costa folded his big blind, and they went heads up to a flop.

Flop: {A-Hearts} {7-Diamonds} {2-Hearts}

Chen checked, and then called the 250,000 bet from Chouity. They proceeded.

Turn: {6-Hearts}

Chen checked again, and this time Chouity checked behind.

River: {10-Hearts}

Chen bet out 425,000 as the fourth heart fell on the river. Chouity called, and announced, "Ace." He turned over {A-Spades} {9-Clubs}. Presumably Chen didn't have either a heart or a better ace, as he mucked and Chouity edged above the 11 million mark.

Bad Karma for Chen

Karmazinas - turning up the aggression
Karmazinas - turning up the aggression
Andrew Chen raised to 185,000 and everyone else folded; he took the pot.

Next hand Chouity raised to 180,000. He picked up the blinds and antes.

The following hand Chen opened to 185,000 again but this time Dominykas Karmazinas on the button announced a reraise. It took him a while to decide on the amount, but finally opted for 420,000. The blinds both folded, and after just a very short while, so did Chen.

Aleh and Josef Club Together To Give Klinger More Chips

Josef Klinger raised to 180,000. Aleh Plauski in the blinds asked how much he was playing. "1.9 million," was the reply.

Plauski made the call and the two saw a {J-Clubs} {9-Clubs} {8-Clubs} flop, Plauski check-called a bet of 200,000 before both players checked the {5-Clubs} turn.

On the {A-Hearts} river, Plauski checked a third time and Klinger bet 300,000. Plauski sighed and said, "You've got it," he then folded.

It's very tight at the moment between all the short stacks.

Chouity Turns Sour for Guerfi

Aleh Plauski opened for 220,000 and in the small blind [Removed:146] asked how much Plauski had behind. The answer was around 2.1 million, and after a while Guerfi reraised to 640,000.

Over to chip leader Nicolas Chouity in the big blind, who paused - and then announced all in to cover them both. "Oh, maybe you save me," said Plauski as he folded. Guerfi tanked for a while, and in the end he folded too.

Chouity moved up to 10,595,000. Guerfi's stack was reduced to 2,535,000.

Chouity took the next pot as well, three-betting Dominykas Karmazinas who folded swiftly.
