Changes for Bowey

James Bowey open-shoved for 62,500, and in the hijack Nicolas Chouity reshoved for over 400,000 - the button and both blinds at his table all being short-stacked. Everyone folded, and Bowey and Chouity were on their backs.

Chouity: {A-Clubs} {J-Clubs}
Bowey: in terrible shape with {J-Hearts} {10-Hearts}, and even worse come the flop...

Flop: {5-Spades} {K-Clubs} {2-Clubs}

Turn: bink! {10-Spades}

River: {K-Spades}

Bowey somehow managed to pull a double-up out of thin air, and stayed in the game with 130,000.

Vaserfirer Fired

Oleksander Vaserfirer moved all in under the gun, and he was only one player away from winning the blinds and antes. But Kevin MacPhee looked down at {A-Hearts} {K-Spades} in the big blind and snap called.

The flop came {A-Diamonds} {7-Hearts} {6-Hearts}. After the {8-Hearts} on the turn, Vaserfirer picked up three nines as outs and lost one of the tens, but the {3-Spades} on the river was neither. The dealer counted out the stacks and determined that MacPhee's 135,000 just had Vaserfirer covered, eliminating the Ukrainian.

FunkiMunki in a Funk

Greg "FunkiMonki" Dyer opened to 20,000 on the button and gave it up to a three-bet. A few hands later, he again raised to 20,000. The small blind, Lauri Meidla, moved all in for a total of 94,000. "Guess I have to call," grumped Dyer. "Calling it off again." He flipped over {A-Hearts} {9-Hearts}, a 70/30 dog to Meidla's {A-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds}. It was much worse than that after the {J-Spades} {7-Clubs} {3-Clubs} flop, and the {K-Diamonds} turn and {10-Clubs} river didn't help. Dyer fell to 97,000 after doubling up Meidla.

Lex Loses One

Lex Veldhuis made it 19,000 to go preflop and Aleh Plauski in seat four made the call.

Flop: {j-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}

Veldhuis made it 27,500 before Plauski bumped it up to 70,000. Veldhuis made the call and the turn brought the {10-Clubs}.

Veldhuis checked. Plauski asked for a count of Veldhuis' chips and then moved all of his chips in the middle. Veldhuis folded and is down to 243,500.

Owen Crows No More

Owen Crowe just got eliminated after pushing with {8-Clubs} {8-Diamonds} but ran right into David Paredes' {A-Clubs} {A-Spades} on a {6-?} {6-?} {K-?} {J-?} {10-?}.

Unlike yesterday where {8-?} {8-?} were cracking overpairs for fun (and flopping quads frequently) things have returned to a certain degree of normalcy.

Kelopuro Kinged

A player under-the-gun made it 18,500 preflop and it was folded around to Sami Kelopuro who made the call from the big blind.

Flop: {5-Spades}{9-Spades}{5-Clubs}

Kelopuro checked and was faced with a bet of 26,000. He made the call and the {k-Spades} hit the turn.

The two checked, bringing the {a-Spades} on the river and it was checked again. Kelopuro mucked his cards when his opponent showed {k-Hearts}{4-Hearts}.
