Hard to Win with the Master Around

There was a bit of a disruption over at one of the far tables so we wandered over to see why Men Nguyen was practically shouting at the dealer.

“We can't play with six!” Men was half-screaming. His table was indeed six handed, and there were no cards being dealt when we approaching. A few of the others at the table were bantering with the dealer amicably, saying, “I'm not sure we can play six-handed, I think the floor wants us to hold up,” but Men the Master was not taking it so calmly. Apparently the dealer had initially failed to hold up, but she quickly pulled the cards back and washed the deck when the floor told her to wait for a player.

“Why don't you get a job as a floor?” Nguyen snapped at her. “Then you can make the decisions.”

The dealer quietly told Nguyen that she was a floor person in her day-to-day job at home, but being reasonable doesn't always work. “That's different. You have to listen to the floor! You don't make the decisions!”

This continued for several minutes as we walked away, but it looks like things have calmed down a bit now. Maybe the fact that Nguyen is down under 20 big blinds has him in a bit of a sour mood.
