Per Linde opened to 53,000 in early position and got calls from both Nikolas Liakos to his immediate left and Joel Nordkvist in the cutoff. Linde bet out 80,000 on the flop which was enough to scare off Liakos. Nordkvist called, though, and they went heads up to the turn.
The turn came down the and this time Linde checked. Nordkvist expressionlessly bet 120,000, and Linde laid it down, shipping the nearly half-million pot to Nordkvist.
We're pretty sure that this is the first hand that Linde has played today which he has not won.
Joel Nordkvist won the blinds, antes and a Kevin Iacofano preflop raise with a three-bet to 128k.
John Eames raised to 52k and Tureniec followed Nordkvist's example and three-bet (126k). Big blind Per Linde then applied maximum pressure moving all-in and both of the others let their raising hands go.
Kevin Iacofano (who we've been told pronounces his name 'Eye-so-fano') just won a big pot after refusing to be shaken from his by button aggressor Nikolas Liakos.
Iacofano checked the flop, and called Liakos' 55k bet. He did the same thing on the turn - this time 105k. The river was the and once more a check to Liakos brought out a bet. The 190k took a little longer to call, but Iacofano did call and won with his pair ( Liakos showed some kind of bluffy nothing like ).
Kevin Iacofano raised to 52,000 from the hijack and Joel Nordkvist made the call in the cutoff. The flop was a dry looking and Iacofano bet 70,000 with Nordkvist made a quick call to see a turn which both players checked.
The river was the and Iacofano now fired 105,000, Nordkvist was a non-believer and made the call but Iacofano flipped for second pair which was good.
First three-bet in a while, as Joel Nordkvist opened to 52,000 and Michael Tureniec made it 126,000 to go. Exciting stuff, but it went no further - Nordkvist folded and Tureniec took the pot.
Three-bets are like buses, but this latest one turned into a four-bet.
Per Linde opened to 52,000 in the hijack and Kevin Iacofano made it 125,000 from the small blind. But back to Linde, who made it 275,000, and Iacofano decided he didn't want to mess with the chip monster and folded.
Right as the break commenced, Juha Helppi doubled through in a dramatic hand which saw button Joel Nordkvist finally stop believing the rarely-looked-up Finn and get it all-in preflop.
Nordkvist raised to 52k on the button, big blind Helppi three-betting to 154k. In a flash, Nordkvist had four-bet the shorter stacked' Helppi all in and he'd called.
