We only caught the showdown bit, but it was enough to establish that 2008 EPT Warsaw finalist Ludovic Lacay will not be going any further in this tournament.

Michael Fratty has been eliminated at the hands of Kevin Lambert. We are not sure what point in the hand all of the money went in but Fratty was holding {k-Spades} {k-Diamonds} and Lambert had a set of sixes with {6-Diamonds} {6-Clubs} in the hole.

Shander Needs a Hand

Recent EPT Barcelona finalist Shander de Vries is in some trouble, but fighting back. We found him open-shoving from the cutoff for his last 139,000, just a little over 11 big blinds. Fried Meulders in the big blind spent a long time deliberating, but eventually decided to fold like everyone else and de Vries picked up some much-needed blinds and antes.

Kenny Hallaert has just eliminated Konstantin Streletskiy to become our new chip leader. The two of them were involved in a pre flop raising war and it ended with all of their chips going across the line.

There is not much to report on Fabian Holling's table except to say they should move him because it is becoming a massacre. Nobody is fighting back against the the table chip leader and he is literally cleaning house.

It's Kroll to be Kind

Raphael Kroll fired out 39,000 from the small blind on a {3-Hearts} {4-Spades} {10-Diamonds} flop only for Franck Pepe to raise to 154,000. Kroll cautiously made the call after some thinking and wordlessly checked the {7-Diamonds} turn. Pepe, wary himself, decided to check-back the turn and we moved on to a {9-Spades} river.

Kroll now wasted little time and fired out a big 227,000 chip bet into Pepe, his concentration fixed entirely on his opponent. Pepe looked as though he was going to make the call but instead elected to fold, like everywhere else in the world, the rich just got richer.

Joe Ebanks is looking rather put out after doubling up Fernando Valenciano. We didn't quite catch Ebanks' hand, but Valenciano was holding {a-} {10-} ; there was an ace and indeed a ten on the flop.

Fried Meulders raised to 27,000 in early position and on the button Mathew Frankland made it 71,000 to go. Over to Shander de Vries in the small blind who now shoved for 105,000 total; Meulders folded but Frankland announced, "Oops," and tossed in the extra few chips for the call.
