Geshkenbein Continues To Splash Around
Vladimir Geshkenbein's chip stack has fluctuated wildly all tournament, none more so than here on the final table. The loose-aggressive Russian has been the chip leader, the short stack and now he lies somewhere in between.
He was involved in a few pots before the break one where he raised to 175,000 and the folded when Giacomo Maisto moved all-in for 2,500,000. In another he saw Kevin Vandersmissen raise to 160,000 from the button and he himself moved all in. Vandersmissen folded.
One hand went all the way to the river too, Koen De Visscher opened to 160,000 and Geshkenbein made the call. Both players checked the 
flop and again when the 
was dealt on the turn. The 
on the river prompted a very small 80,000 bet from Geshkenbein but De Visscher read this as strength and folded rather quickly.
