Third Barrel Too Much For Kovacs

Grudi Grudev is having a fantastic tournament thus far. Here is applying relentless pressure to Andras Kovacs to win yet another pot.

Grudev raised to 9,000 in the hijack seat and Kovacs defended his big blind. The flop was a lowly looking {4-Hearts} {3-Hearts} {2-Diamonds} and Kovac check-called a 11,000 Grudev c-bet. On the turn we saw the {9-Spades} and once again Kovacs took the check-call line for an amount of 21,500. The last card to leave the dealers hand and float gently to the felt was the {9-Clubs} and Kovacs checked for the third time. Grudev finished his triple barrel assault with a bet of 63,000 and Kovacs decided enough was enough and mucked his hand.

Everyone's favourite charasmatic Welshman, Robert Romanello, has been eliminated from EPT Loutraki. Vitalijs Zavorotnijs raised from the hijack and Romanello moved all-in from the cutoff. The action folded around to Zavorotnijs and he made the call.

Koen de Visscher raised to 8,200 in the cutoff and both blinds made the call. The flop was {A-Diamonds} {K-Spades} {9-Spades} and all three players checked. The turn was the {A-Clubs} and Tobias Garp checked from the small blind, Ioannis Papadopoylos bet 12,500 from the big blind and Koen de Visscher also made the call before Garp folded. The river of {10-Spades} was checked through and we had a showdown between De Visscher and Papadopoylos.

Ioannis Papathanasioy has just smashed into the stack of Rupert Elder and caused a huge dent. We didn't see the pre flop action but Rupert Elder was in the small blind and Ioannis Papathanasioy was in middle position and it was an all-in confrontation.

Papathanasioy Smack Elder Again!

As we fast approach the bubble Ioannis Papathanasioy has decided to help himself to Ruper Elders stack. He just doubled up through Elder with pocket aces and then this happened.

Elder raised to 8,000 from first position and Papathanasioy cold-called on the button which also brought the big blind along for the ride. The flop was the {10-Clubs} {3-Spades} {2-Diamonds} and Elder bet 12,500 when checked to. Papathanasioy made the call and the big blind folded and the two new foes saw the turn of {J-Diamonds} . Elder liked it and he bet 28,000 but Papathanasioy raised the bar slightly higher with a raise to 64,000 and Elder made the call. The river was the {5-Spades} and both players couldn't check quick enough.
