Two From Before the Break

During the break, we heard news of the demise of Vladimir Geshkenbein. Word on the street is he ran pocket queens into Andrey Saenko's pocket aces to end his day earlier than he'd hoped.

We also watched a pot play out between Ramez Haddad and Jude Ainsworth. There was a raise and two callers in front of Ainsworth, and he made a three-bet from the small blind. Haddad had been the first of the two flat-callers, and he reraised all in for about 65,000 when it came back to him. Ainsworth made the call, and the cards were on their backs.

Showdown
Haddad: {Q-Spades} {Q-Hearts}
Ainsworth: {J-Clubs} {J-Hearts}

Ainsworth flopped a flush draw on the {6-Clubs} {K-Clubs} {Q-Clubs}, but he could not catch up on the {3-Diamonds} turn or {10-Hearts} river. Haddad has doubled, and the two are essentially even in chips now.
