Kevin MacPhee was all in before the flop for 1.742 million, and he was tangling with the chip leader, Chris McClung. MacPhee was showing up , and that had McClung's crushed.

In the biggest pot we've seen yet, MacPhee has put his name atop the leaderboard with a huge double. He's up over 3.5 million now, while McClung falls back into the pack with 1.6 million -- just about average.
In early position, Patrick Gastaldi opened to 70,000, and Andrey Pateychuk three-bet to 167,000 in the small blind. Gastaldi made a firm call, and he called another 206,000 after the flop. They were content to check it down behind the turn and river, and Pateychuk showed up . It was second-best now, though, and Gastaldi's locked up another pot.

The pot began with Dimitar Danchev raising to 65,000, and Gastaldi three-bet to 200,000 right next door. Danchev tanked and shoved, and Gastaldi couldn't wait to get his chips into the pot. The speed was such that Danchev figured he had aces or kings, but as it turned out, it was just a coinflip.

That folded Veldhuis without incident, but Boatman made the relatively easy call with . Cedolia was working with for the flush draw, and he needed to hit to stay alive.
