If you can keep your opponents guessing to what your hand strength is then you will definitely be a thorn in their side. Juha Lauttamus obviously knows this because he took a strange line against Simon Ravnsbaek in a hand just now.
It was Ravnsbaek who opened the betting with a raise to 4,800 from the cutoff and Lauttamus decided to see flop from the big blind and tossed in the extra chips. He and Ravnsbaek shared a flop reading

and both players checked but there was no such passivity when the
landed on the turn, instead Lauttamus instantly reached for chips and bet just 2,100. Ravnsbaek asked the dealer to confirm the amount before making the call.
The river was the
and despite it being a relative blank Lauttamus made it 17,200 to play. Ravnsbaek took another look at his cards before giving them back to the dealer. Lauttamus wins.
Steve O'Dwyer is back up and running and approaching 100,000 chips again after doubling through Albert Iversen. We did not see the hand go down but it appears the chips went in on the

flop with the turn and river coming
and
respectively.

When we started the days proceedings Kevin Iacofano was sat snugly in third place with 305,200 chips and just a few places behind him was the flying Fin Lauri Varonen with 271,800 chips. The latest chip counts show Varonen as the new chip leader and Iacofano floundering with the fish at the bottom of the ocean, so we have some explaining to do.
Melanie Weisner told us the the defining happened in a button versus big blind spot, Iacofano was in the big blind with pocket kings and Varonen was on the button with pocket aces. A six bet later, and Varonen had doubled up to overtake Weisner as the chip leader and Iacofano was left with a shove and fold stack.
Iacofano did indeed shove his stack into the middle at the beginning of Level 14 and it was that man Varonen who was once again there to greet him with a call.

Fresh from losing almost all of his chips to Steve O'Dwyer, Albert Iversen has just doubled up through PokerStars Team Pro Online Mickey Petersen.
Iversen open-shoved for 8,800 on the button and Petersen made the call.
Iversen:

Petersen

"How do you read me like that," joked Petersen as the dealer got busy putting out the five community cards, which by the river read

. Iversen climbed to around 20,000 whilst Petersen is down to around 43,000
Keep your eye on this player: Grzegorz Cichocki. He finished in 2nd place at EPT Tallinn with a seemingly fearless approach to the game. He is currently sharing the same table as Melanie Weisner and Lauri Varonen and he is showing them, once again, that he has no fear at the table. After raising for three consecutive pots Cichocki once again moved a bet into the pot. This time Varonen decided to put him in his place with a 14,300 three-bet. How did Cichocki react? He moved all in for nearly 200,000 chips of course. Varonen folded and Cichocki counted out a raise in preparation for his next hand!
Jacob Rasmussen has taken care of Lars Damgaard Hansen to break through the 200k mark.
He opened to 5,000 from mid position before Hansen three-bet to 14,700. When Rasmussen realised his opponent only had 50,000 back he slid over a tower of blue 5k chips. Hansen seemed to know he was in bad shape, but committed to his fate. Call.

and Hansen headed off.
