We know it is early but Team PokerStars Pro Pierre Neuville has just regained the top spot. Bjarke Hansen raised to 17,500 on the button and Pierre Neuville three-bet from the small blind making it 54,00 to play. Hansen does not scare easily and he peeled from the big blind and they shared a flop of
. Both players checked the flop and the turn of
was produced. Neuville bet 65,000 and Hansen folded his hand.

The aggressive Bjarke Hansen opened to 17,500 from the cutoff and Aage Floenes Ravn made the call in the big blind. The dealer got busy putting out the

flop out onto the felt, a flop that Ravn initially checked then check-raised hansen's 21,500 continuation bet to 65,000. Hansen called and it was off to the turn.
The turn was the
and when Ravn checked Hansen checked behind, which is exactly what happened when the
landed on the turn.
Ravn proudly turned over
and Hansen sucked some air through his teeth before mucking his hand.
Gerasimos Deres has just doubled through Juha Lauttamus who now only has 51,500 chips.
Lauttamus open-shoved from the cutoff with
and Deres made the call in the button with the superior
. Lauttamus received no help at all from the

board and he is now the shortest stack in EPT Copenhagen Main Event.
Steve O'Dwyer is now a legitimate threat in this tournament after doubling through Spencer Hudson to find himself armed with more than 700,000 chips.
Hudson opened the betting with a raise to 17,000 from under the gun and the players passed one-by-one until the action was on O'Dwyer. He peeled back his cards and put in a three-bet to 41,000, folding out both the blinds but Hudson was not done with his hand, far from it. He took back his original bet and four-bet to 101,000. O'Dwyer moved all in and Hudson called.
O'Dwyer:

Hudson:

O'Dwyer in a great position to double. The flop came down

followed by the
turn and the
river and O'Dwyer doubled up.
Juha Lauttamus open shoved from the cutoff for just 51,500 chips and the action folded to Spencer Hudson in the big blind. He asked how much the bet was and when he received confirmation he made the call.
Lauttamus:

Hudson:

The

flop missed both players but the
turn gave Hudson some outs to the flush. They were not needed though as the
landed on the river and Lauttamus became the 20th place finisher.
Gerasimos Deres raised to 18,000, on the button, and Jacob Rasmussen called in the big blind. The flop was
and Rasmussen led for 19,000 before Deres raised to 62,000. Rasmussen asked for a count and Deres had around 120,000 behind. Rasmussen had a think before moving all-in and Deres snap-called.

The turn
and river
maintained the Deres lead, and he doubled up through a red-faced Rasmussen.
Lauri Varonen had lost a few pots where he called three-bets only to fold to c-bets on flops. He's got his stack going back in the right direction and cost Mickey Petersen a few chips as a result.
The two had made it to the river of a

board. Petersen checked from the small blind and took his time to call the 151,000 bet that his Finnish opponent laid out. Varonen opened
for the nuts and scooped as the Team Online mucked.
Edit: Mickey Petersen's Tweet filled in some of the gaps in the above hand, "Had a really good start to the day but just flopped top two vs a straight and called three streets. Got 400k left, avg is 472 and 18 left."
Current EPT Copenhagen champion, Michael Tureniec, raised to 16,000 in the cutoff and PokerStars qualifier Alexander Manson three-bet to 45,000 from the small blind. The big blind folded and Tureniec moved all-in for 237,000 in total. Manson made the call and it was a great call.

So Tureniec was in terrible shape, but all that would change on the flop.
Flop:

Considering how he faired pre flop, Tureniec has hit the flop hard.
Turn:
Tureniec starts to lift himself up from his seat.
River:
Tureniec sits back down! You can hear the murmurs of laughter from around the borders of the table and Manson looks devastated. A rather sheepish looking Tureniec goes over to the rail and bangs fists with Anton Wigg and they both share a "you lucky so and so" moment.
Jacob Rasmussen is up to 560,000 chips after making a good call on the river against American Spencer Hudson.
It was Rasmussen who opened the betting to 16,000 from early position and after Michael Tureniec folded Hudson three-bet to 41,000. The action then passed around to Steve O'Dwyer in the big blind who asked each of the active players in turn how many chips they had, but at the last minute he scrapped any plans on four-betting and he folded his hand. Rasmussen called and it was heads-up to the flop.
Flop:

- Rasmussen, his head on his left hand, tapped the table and checked. Hudson immediately reached for chips and made it 45,000 to play. A count of 30 seconds and Rasmussen made the call.
Turn:
- The turn failed to inspire either party and when Rasmussen checked Hudson quickly checked behind.
River:
- Rasmussen checked again and Hudson fired a bet of 95,000. Rasmussen looked puzzled by the bet and you could see he was replaying the hand over in his head. Eventually he flicked a single blue 5,000 chip forwards and said, "That's a call by the way."
Rasmussen:

Hudson:

Aage Ravn raised to 17,000 in the cutoff and Keld Volquardsen three-bet from the button making it 50,000 to play. Ravn made the call and they shared a flop of
. Ravn check-called a 60,000 Volquardsen c-bet and we moved on to the
turn. Ravn decided to change his tactics and he led for 100,000. Volquardsen, who bets very quickly anyway, bet 200,000 very quickly and it put Ravn into thought mode. With a face screwed up like a baby traveling down the birth canal, Ravn folded his hand and Volquardsen moves over the one million mark as our new chip leader.
