Haxton Loses Huge Chunk in Last Hand

Eric Nhouyvanisvong and Isaac Haxton just played a big one on the last hand of the night at their table... a really big one.

From the cutoff seat, Haxton raised to an unknown amount before Nhouyvanisvong three-bet to 34,000 from the small blind. Play got back to Haxton, and he reraised to 85,000. Nhouyvanisvong moved all in for 375,000, and Haxton called.

Haxton showed the {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds} for two overcards against Nhouyvanisvong's {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs} in this flip for a 750,000 pot.

The flop was an interesting one with the {Q-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} coming down. Nhouyvanisvong landed top set, but Haxton flopped a flush draw, and he could still get there.

The turn was the {6-Spades}, leaving Haxton needing a diamond on the river that didn't pair the board. The {2-Clubs} came on fifth street, and Nhouyvanisvong had won the huge pot to put an exclamation point on his day. Haxton dropped all the way back to 488,000.
