With the flop in the middle, Mihai Manole checked, and Michael Benvenuti bet 2,400. Behind him, Dimitrios Farmakoulis called, the Manole folded.
The turn was the , and Benvenuti bet 3,600. Farmakoulis called again, this time to see the land on the river to complete the board. Benvenuti bet 7,700, and Farmakoulis folded.
The raising all started when David Peters opened to 1,600 from middle position. Vladislav Mitrofanov three-bet to 3,600 from the cutoff seat before action folded to Mike "Timex" McDonald in the small blind. He four-bet and made it 8,600 to go. Action then moved back to Peters, and he opted to toss in a five-bet to 16,000. First, Mitrofanov folded, then McDonald gave it up, and Peters won the pot.
Fabio Bianchi and Victor Ramdin were all in on a flop, and when the board ran out Bianchi was animated in defeat. The thing was he had actually won the hand to double up.
The pot opened with a mid position raise from the Team PokerStars Pro with from the hijack. Bianchi was the only caller on the button with . and the fireworks went off on the flop. The Italian had 30,700 back and took all but 4,500 of Ramdin's chips as the latter missed his open-ended draw.
The Italian sports journalist was all apologies at the end, Ramdin taking it really well.
Tomas Pleticha opened for 1,600 and received three callers. Oliver Weis then moved all in from the big blind for 17,300. Pleticha called, Tudor Purice moved all in over the top for 25,000, the other two limpers folded, and Pleticha called.

Purice held the best hand when the money went in, but not after the flop came down . The gave Purice a flush draw, but the river sent him to the rail while saving Weis, who tripled his short stack; meanwhile, Pleticha collected the side pot.
Sam Cohen was first to act and she made it 1,600 from under the gun. JC Alvarado called from the next seat over and the player in the cutoff called as well. Erion Islamay called from the button and the big blind tagged along as well.
The five players saw a flop of . Action checked all of the way around to Islamay's button and he bet 3,200. His only caller was Cohen and they saw the turn. Cohen checked once again and Islamay fired 8,100. Cohen called once more.
The completed the board and Cohen checked one last time. Islamay bet 13,300. Cohen wrapped her hands around her stack and pushed the whole thing in the middle for a bet that totaled 56,600. Islamay then went into the tank for over four minutes before finally dropping in a call.

Islamay showed for a flopped full house and dragged in a massive pot and put him in the chip lead with about 230,000. Cohen, on the other hand, saw her exit from the tournament near the end of the first level of the day.
Jason Tompkins raised to 3,800 before the flop and Leo Fernandez shoved all in for 20,300. Lucille Cailly was next to act and after giving it some thought she laid off her hand. Tompkins, however, made the call and they went in for a showdown.

Tompkins had Fernandez covered and the Team PokerStars Pro needed help to keep his tournament hopes alive. However, the board favored Tompkins and Fernandez had to leave the table.
Just prior to the break, action folded to Natalie Hof in the cutoff and she moved all in for 7,100. Sebastian Von Toperczer called from the button, both blinds folded, and the cards were turned up.
