Jacks No Good for Haxton

From middle position, Isaac Haxton raised to 20,000. Yevgeniy Timoshenko called from the big blind, and the flop came down {K-Spades}{8-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}. Both players checked.

The turn was the {7-Clubs} to pair the board, and Timoshenko checked. Haxton bet 35,000, and Timoshenko called to see the river.

The {5-Spades} completed the board, and both players checked. Timoshenko showed the {K-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} to beat Haxton's {J-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} and win the pot.

Salsberg Takes Chip Lead with Straight

Matt Salsberg
Matt Salsberg

Matt Salsberg raised to 21,000 from under the gun, and Justin Bonomo called from the big blind to see the flop come down {K-Spades}{10-Clubs}{6-Hearts}. After Bonomo checked, Salsberg fired 20,000. Bonomo called.

The turn was the {8-Clubs}, and Bonomo checked again. This time, Salsberg bet 45,000, and Bonomo check-raised to 150,000. Salsberg tanked, then called.

The river was the {9-Clubs} and completed a backdoor flush draw. Bonomo slid out 250,000, and Salsberg snap-called, to which Bonomo showed {K-}{8-} for two pair. Salsberg tabled the {Q-Spades}{J-Hearts} for a straight, and he won the pot.

Deeb Done and Dusted

Shaun Deeb
Shaun Deeb

Day 4 wasn't kind to Shaun Deeb; in fact, all he seemed to do was dwindle over the first two levels.

In a hand at the tail end of Level 20, Deeb moved all in from middle position for 162,000 and received a call from Artem Metalidi in the small blind.

Showdown
Deeb: {K-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}
Metalidi: {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}

"I got it in with my favorite hand," Deeb said before seeing the flop come down {3-Spades}{6-Clubs}{A-Spades}, which provide him with any help. The {A-Clubs} turn was just as useless, and Deeb needed either a king or queen on the river to stay alive. The dealer burned one last time and put out the {2-Hearts}. With that, Deeb was eliminated from the tournament, and we're guessing he'll probably jump into the €10,000 High Roller event that just started.
