Maurizio Volpi fired 5,000 on the turn of a 
board, only for Fabio Bianchi to quickly make a call to see the 
river. Volpi slowed down and checked and Bianchi fired out 8,500 leaving himself just shrapnel behind, the former tanked for five minutes and it never looked at any point that he would call. Then suddenly he threw out three 5,000 blue chips and Bianchi quickly turned over 
for a set. Volpi's 
was no good and he was eliminated a couple of hands later.
Alessandro Minasi might well have picked up some weakness from Marius Pospiech as he risked the minimum as a bluff, and got the move through.
Vittorio Santaniello called from early position before Minasi raised to 1,550 from the button, and Anton Ionel called form the small blind. Pospiech was in the big blind and three-bet to 6,500. Only Ionel (I know!) failed to call to the 
flop.
Pospiech led for 6,500 and Santaniello folded before Minasi min raised to 13,000. His German opponent took an age before he folded.
Minasi opened 
and Pospiech tapped the table and said, "Well played."

On a flop reading 
Claudio Pagano bet 1,200 from the under the gun position and the next two players to his immediate left also got in on the act. First Andrey Baturin moved all in for a total of 8,600 and Fabrice Gouget made the call. Suddenly Pagano's hand did not look as attractive and got out of the way.

Gouget held the advantage but he needed to avoid a club in order to win the hand. The 
on the turn catapulted Baturin into the lead but now it was his turn to have to dodge cards; with all jacks in play Baturin now needed to the river not to pair the board. If he was praying to a higher being then they were answered as the river was the and he is now back in business with more than 20,000 chips.
Fabrizio Gonzalez, who was going quite well earlier with over 40,000, has just dropped most of it in a big old river bluff. The Uruguayan had fired a nearly pot-sized bet of 18,400 on the river of a 
board against Primoz Adamie. Adamie tanked for several minutes before making the call and Gonzalez casually showed 
for a complete bluff, Adamie scooped the pot with for top two pair.

On a flop reading 
a battle of the blinds ensued between Dario Nittolo (small blind) and Davide Andreoni (big blind). Nittolo checked to his opponent and Andreoni tried his luck with a bet of 2,100 bit that was not enough to fold out his opponent who swiftly called.
The turn was the and neither player seemed interested in its arrival and they quickly checked, leading us to the river. Now Nittolo lead into Andreoni with a bet of 8,600 and Andreoni did not believe him and made the call.

I can't work out why but whenever Carla Solinas is in a hand the Italian media gather round her table as if looking for any excuse.
She raised from late position and called quickly when her compatriot Giuliano Bendinelli three-bet all-in for 17,000 from the small blind.
