River Bets From Team Pros

Fatima Moreira de Melo
Fatima Moreira de Melo

Victor Ramdin had less success betting on the river than his team mate Fatima Moreira de Melo.

The Team PokerStars SportStar was three-way on the river of a {2-Spades}{j-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{4-Spades} board. There was a 3,500 bet and a call in front of her and she treated it to a raise to 9,500. Both players folded.

Ramdin was also in a three-way pot when he completed from the small blind after Marco Leonzio limped in from under the gun. Alexandre Dreyfus checked his option and all three saw a {9-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{a-Clubs} flop where the Team PokerStars Pro led out for 1,250. Leonzio was the only caller to the {4-Clubs} turn where they both checked. The river fell {4-Clubs} and Ramdin led for 3,000. Leonzio called and Ramdin mucked.

Nitsche Gets Kicked in the Gulyys

Level 7 : 250/500, 50 ante

Andrey Gulyy raised to 1,100 preflop and was called by Mikica Mitrovic and Marco Bognanni before Dominik Nitsche made it 3,750 from the blinds. Gulyy then four-bet to 6,050 forcing Mitrovic and Bognanni out of the way but Nitsche moved all in for about 28,000 and Gulyy snap-called.

Nitsche: {K-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}
Gulyy: {A-Clubs}{A-Spades}

The board ran out {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{6-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} - no help for the German, he's out.

Vamplew Continues His Climb

Level 7 : 250/500, 50 ante

Simon Hanniger lead into David Vamplew on a {5-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} flop and the Scot made the call. The dealer put out a second six, the {6-Diamonds}, onto the turn and Vamplew watched Hanniger like a hawk; just as he had done on the flop. Hanniger, never looking up from a couple of square inches in front of his stack. He tapped the table and checked.

Vamplew stopped studying his opponent and reached into his stack with both hands, pulling them back to place a bet of 3,900. Hanniger stalled for a few moments before releasing his hand to the muck.
