Welcome back to Prague for Day 3 of the final EPT in 2012. Today's play will be dominated by the bubble. The remaining 161 players will all have hopes of being amongst 128 players to cash.
The other task for the day is to figure out how to catch Iosif Beskrovnyy. The Russian has been clear chip leader at the end of day1 combined and the end of day 2. The next nearest rival, Martin Hanowski, is almost an average stack behind. If he carries at this rate we'll be comparing him to a 2006 Jamie Gold before long.
There are a bunch of talented pros up for the challenge of catching him including: Fabrice Soulier, Todd Terry, Christopher Brammer, Manuel Bevand, Vincent van der Fluit and Marc-Andre Ladouceur.
Play is due to get under way at 12:00 PM CET which is just around the corner. Join the PokerNews reporting team back here then.

The PokerNews Podcast crew is in the Czech Republic for the PokerStars.net European Poker Tour Prague Main Event, where they break down all of the latest news. They are then joined by John Eames, who talks about his venture with IveyPoker.com, and Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier, who's looking forward to PCA10.
On one of the first hands of play, there was a three-way all in over on Table 2. Lardo Leheste, who commanded the shortest stack coming into Day 3, was all in and at risk with , Chulpan Garaev had , and Tudor Purice had both players covered, but he had the worst hand with .
The board ran out , and Leheste was eliminated. Garaev more than doubled to 115,000 chips.

Tudor Purice | 295,000 | -52,100 |

Oleg Perepletchikov opened for 7,500 in middle position only to have Michele di Lauro three-bet to 14,800 from the button. After the blinds both folded, Perepletchikov pushed back with a four-bet to 27,500, and di Lauro thought long and hard before putting in a five-bet to 42,100.
Both players were fairly deep, and it seemed some fireworks were in store. Perepletchikov eyed his opponent's stake, grabbed some chips, and then hesitated. The Russian must have thought better of it because he eventually gave it up to the Italian.

Mike "SirWatts" Watson has just been eliminated over on Table 2 after a clash with Tudor Purice. Watson opened, Purice raised all-in and Watson called — though he did not seem to impressed about the idea.
Watson opened and was up against the of Purice. The door card was the and when the following four cards read Watson's tournament was over. No doubt we will see him in the High Roller tomorrow.

There aren't many women left in the field, and we just lost on of them.
It happened when Stuart Rutter opened for 6,600 from the cutoff and was met with an all-in three-bet for 20,000 from Romania's Luciana Manolea. The big blind got out of the way and Rutter made a hesitant call.
Showdown
Rutter:
Manolea:
Manolea got it in good, but a flash of pure disappointment crossed her face when the flop paired Rutter. Neither the turn nor river would help Manolea, and the Italian beauty made an early exit here on Day 3.
